Jehovah Shalom - The Lord Our Peace (Judges 6:24)

I thank you, Jehovah Shalom, that in a world that seeks to steal my peace you have made your peace available. You, Jesus, the “Prince of Peace” said in John 14:27, “Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.” I am reminded to not simply accept your peace, but to be a peacemaker. There can be no peace without You. May the gospel truth and Your invitation for true and lasting peace be forever on my lips.
